DBAA Membership is open to non-profit organizations with a significant focus on the arts or culture based in or providing services within DBAA’s membership area. New members must be meet eligibility requirements and be voted in by current members.
All members are invited to attend and host events, serve on committees, participate in discussions about DBAA priorities and programs, and vote on key initiatives. DBAA activities are designed to be inclusive and collegial – aimed at serving organizations that are diverse in size and mission – and members are encouraged to connect and collaborate with peers and colleagues in the DBAA cohort.

Professional Development Series

Types of Membership
$5,000 Annual Dues
Non-profit arts organizations with budgets over $8 million.
Leadership Council Members have a seat on the DBAA Board of Directors and board-level committees, lead working groups devoted to special topics, initiate and lead new projects, and approve new Leadership Council Members.
$1,500 Annual Dues (may be paid in quarterly installments)
Non-profit arts organizations with budgets under $8 million.
Program Council Members have a seat on the DBAA Board of Directors and are invited to join and lead board-level committees and working groups devoted to special topics, initiate and lead new projects, and approve new Program Council Members.
$450 Annual Dues – Budget over $500K+
$350 Annual Dues – Budget $250-500K
$250 Annual Dues – Budget under $250K
Non-profit arts organizations located in Downtown Brooklyn, including those eligible to be Program Council Members who elect to join at the Affiliate level.
Affiliate Members are represented on the Board of Directors by two representatives elected by Affiliates. Affiliate Members are invited to join non-board committees and working groups devoted to special topics, contribute ideas and feedback on all DBAA initiatives, and approve new Affiliate Members.
