All DBAA events and activities are offered free of charge to the staff at member organizations and are designed to be inclusive and collegial – aimed at serving organizations that are diverse in size and mission.
DBAA All-Member Meetings take place twice a year and feature prominent guest speakers – elected and civic officials, local business representatives, industry leaders, and others – in addition to presentations by DBAA members, voting in new members, updates on DBAA business, and topical presentations.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SERIES
DBAA’s Professional Development Series offers panel discussions, workshops, roundtables, and seminars on important topics such as HR best practices, IT management, social media marketing, facilities management, EDI, advocacy, and other topics suggested by members (4-6 programs annually).
EMERGING LEADER EVENTS
Early-career staff at member organizations are invited to network at events and meetings organized by and for their peers.
All staff at DBAA member organizations are invited to network with staff from member organizations at informal, after-work “happy hour”-style events occurring twice each year.
